Course Outline Day 1
Introduction to a Web Page

The objective of day one is to have the participants become familiar with a WYSIWYG ( What You See Is What You Get) web editor and it's tools, modify a web page template, save the modified file to a directory on their course diskette and have the web page mounted on the internet. The course begins with a brief look into the history and development of  HTML ( Hypertext Markup Language) and quickly moves on to the identification of key web page components . Next through a series of discussions and hands on exercises participants will be guided through the process of modifying the web page template.  After completion--web pages will be mounted to the course web site and  participants will be given the internet address (URL) from which they will be able to view their page on the World Wide Web.
