Information about Midterm #2

1. Midterm #2 will be held on Thursday, November 16, 8:30-9:50 in the Humanities Theatre and in 3 overflow rooms. Here are the assigned rooms (identical to the room assignments for Midterm #1):

   • Last name begins with A-H: Go to Humanities Theatre, Main Floor
   • Last name begins with I-Ri: Go to Humanities Theatre, Balcony
   • Last name begins with Ro-V: Go to Ron Coutts Hall (RCH) 302
   • Last name begins with W-X: Go to Ron Coutts Hall (RCH) 207
   • Last name begins with Y-Z: Go to Ron Coutts Hall (RCH) 206

2. Format and Content: The format of the midterm will be the same as Midterm #1. It will not be cumulative (that is, it will not include material from Midterm 1).
   • Multiple Choice: Midterm #2 will include multiple choice questions from Chapters 8-13, and 15 in the Myers textbook. There will be 5 questions each taken from these 7 chapters, for a total of 35 questions (the same number of questions as in Midterm #1).

   • Short Answer: The material from the first midterm to the material I get through on Tuesday's class will be covered. In addition to the lecture material, I distributed two sets of lecture notes: Notes on Developmental Psychology and Notes on Hypnosis. (and the Lecture Outline on Hypnosis. You will be responsible for that material as well.

   • The review questions below should help you study for the short answer questions. In addition, I am distributing the short answer questions from the Fall 2005 Midterm #2 (and both those questions and the answers are now available by clicking here).

   • As with Midterm #1, the point totals for the short answer section will be about the same as the point totals for the multiple choice section.

3. Answers to the Review Questions: These will be available as a set of MP3 files on Tuesday evening, Nov 14. They will be posted here at this location.
