University of Waterloo Family Studies Lab

We are the Family Studies lab within the Psychology Department at the University of Waterloo. We conduct studies to examine toddler’s knowledge of ownership and property rights by observing play in children who know each other (i.e. neighbours, friends, cousins, etc.). Participants in the study must be between 20-34 months of age. The participants should be within four months (younger or older) of the toddler they are participating with. The sessions last approximately one hour and our held in our lab (link to facility).
